Please note, the 2021 retreat scheduled for October has been postponed to 2022.
Dear UCC Sisters and Friends,
We invite you to come, join us at this year’s Southern Region Women’s Retreat. This event includes the United Church of Christ Conferences: Southern, Florida, Southeast and South Central.
Meet us in the mountains at Blowing Rock Conference Center (BRCC) in Blowing Rock, North Carolina for this year’s retreat. The theme for the weekend is “Strong Sisters’ Stories”. This fun and meaningful gathering is taking place October 18-20, 2019 (Friday, Saturday & Sunday). The fall foliage should be spectacular in the mountains while we’re there. (BRCC is a couple hours northwest of Charlotte, NC.)
This will be a time of fellowship, relaxation and renewal for all of us. During our time together we will experience Strong Sisters’ Stories brought to life through Story Sessions, Worship, Missions, Prayer, Free-time, Fun-time and more. You can look forward to catching up with old friends and making new ones. You will want to share what you experience during the weekend with others in your Church.
As clergy and lay women from across the region come together, we will hear and embrace the strong stories of our sisters from Biblical times as well as today. There will be times for participation and for personal reflection. God will be with us in this mountain top experience!
You don’t want to miss out on this exciting event as we Hear, Tell, and Celebrate the Strong Sisters’ Stories!
Registration is NOW OPEN – Fill out your Registration Form and send it to the Registrar before the deadline (early bird deadline is August 30th). (Note: You only need to send back pages 2 and 3 of the 3-page Registration packet).
