It is that time of the year again! Instructions for Yearbook information collection will be emailed and hard copy mailed to each church this coming Thursday when the Data Hub opens for you to be able to enter your church’s information for 2020. If you do not receive an email by Friday, January 8, 2021 please reach out the Heather at hfosburgh@secucc.org because that probably means we do not have a valid email.
You can use the form found here to prepare for the yearbook. It includes both the data you will be asked to provide and the supplemental questions that help with the research the National Setting is currently doing. This research helps the National Setting identify areas they can support the work of local churches and Conferences.
What is the Yearbook? The Yearbook is the national record updated annually of all the churches in the United Church of Christ that is used for both the creation of the national list of Churches published as the Yearbook and for research done by the national setting for the health and vitality of the denomination. This year the national setting is offering several incentives for churches that submit both their annual Yearbook report and answer the supplemental research questions. Every church that responds to both will be entered into a random drawing for several prizes. The following prizes will be awarded (SEC Churches have won the prizes in the past):
- $100 UCC Resources Gift Card – 5 gift cards will be awarded
- One year free subscription to Access UCC (online Yearbook and Directory) – 10 subscriptions will be awarded
- 2021 Yearbook and Directory – 10 books will be awarded
- Statistical Profile – 15 will be awarded
