2019 Clergy Compensation Guidelines Published

How much should a congregation pay its minister? What other benefits should a minister receive? What professional expenses should a congregation provide? The answers to these questions are the ways in which we express and live out our covenant of partnership in ministry.

The Conference Commission on Ministry has approved the 2019 Compensation Handbook for Local Church Ministers for the Southeast Conference. This document is designed to help all congregations establish fair and equitable compensation for paid ministry: full-time, part-time, ordained, and licensed. Our great appreciation goes to Henrietta Andrews, Ginnie Ferrell, and Joan Carter for writing them. Visit the Resources tab to download the Guidelines.
