by Rev. Dr. Brice Thomas, Lead Pastor of Holy Trinity Community Church
Nashville’s 2019 Pride Parade and Festival can be summed up in a few words: LOUD, PROUD and WOWED! Over 50 folks from Holy Trinity Community Church participated in this WILDLY successful event by carrying the Pride flag in the parade, planning, set up, greeting folks, and working in our booth during the festival on June 22-23. So many more also supported this important work by buying t-shirts and promoting our church throughout the festival.
Over 100 organizations participated in the parade with 6,000 people marching. The festival itself had over 75,000 in attendance over the two-day event. It was truly an amazing weekend and so many were blessed and encouraged by our presence at the festival. We are PROUD to be called fabulous children of God, beautifully created by love and grace!
