UCC Responds to Hurricane Harvey with Emergency Fund

Hurricane Harvey made landfall in Texas on August 25 as a Category 4 hurricane, being the first Category 4 hurricane to make landfall in the US since 2004. The following extensive rainfall has caused even more widespread destruction. The word catastrophic has become synonymous with Harvey.

The United Church of Christ is active in networks that meet immediate needs and focuses on long-term recovery that may well last 5+ years.
