The celebration, held at the Blowing Rock Conference Center included well-wishers from as far away as New Hampshire.  The board of directors acknowledged Bill, along with his wife Janis (Jan) Bourdon who served as the Center’s Reservations Manager, for their contributions which have substantially grown the number of groups coming to Blowing Rock.  The Blowing Rock Conference Center is located near Boone, North Carolina and offers space for retreats, workshops, and spiritual renewal for religious groups, civic clubs, organizations, individuals and families.  The Bourdons will be retiring to their home in New Mexico.
