Camp Beech Grove welcomes children who want to connect with each other and nature, learn about the outdoor world in which they live, and have time to play in the forest. The children will sing, play, learn about the forest around us, hear sacred stories, gain environmental awareness through fun hands-on activities, do some yoga and enjoy the outdoors.
Our small camp (24 maximum campers) offers young children opportunities to play in and learn about the forest and its habitats. We work to create a safe environment for their spirits to be fed and their hearts and minds engaged in the wonders of the forest at Central UCC. We do yoga, hear sacred stories, sing, play, dig in the dirt, and enjoy hands-on nature and science activities. Every day the kids enjoy forest walks and soak in all they can see, touch and hear.
Our camp is part of Central Congregational UCC: open, progressive, evolving and Christian.
The camp will have weekly sessions, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 4:00
pm, May 31 to July 8. Cost is $195 per week.
All summer, we will have two age groups: 5&6 years & 7&8 years.
