COST
TAP strives to be affordable and accessible to all who feel called to participate. The cost per course is $100 and includes all textbooks and course materials. Congregations are encouraged to support participants spiritually and financially. A limited number of scholarships are available to those with demonstrated need. For scholarship information, please contact the Program Director, c/o the Conference Office.
CERTIFICATION
TAP Certificates of Completion are awarded at the successful completion of each course. Congregations are encouraged to publicly recognize the participants’ progress by distributing the certificates during regular worship services. At the completion of an entire course of study, participants are awarded a Program Certificate of Completion and appropriate symbols to mark their accomplishment during a Commencement Service.
COVENANT
TAP encourages participants and congregations to enter into a covenanted relationship of mutual support and service. This covenant is to be worked out between participants and their local congregations or ministry setting. A copy of the covenant is made part of the participant’s permanent file.
WHO MAY PARTICIPATE?
TAP is open to all members of the Southeast Conference of the United Church of Christ and our ecumenical partner churches. No educational prerequisites are required.
