Ways You and Your Church Can Support New Church Development

New Church Development is a strong passion of the Southeast Conference. We believe that it takes team to build healthy, vital new churches - individual people, our churches, our Conference and our national setting. Every one of us plays a vital role.

Below are ways that you can help start new churches in the SEC:

• Pray for the new church start
• Talk to people in your community about the new church to build interest and enthusiasm
• Offer secretarial skills and volunteer time
• Write letters of support to the pastor and leadership team
• Find out if your church office can help with supplying worship resources and other materials
• Donate office equipment, paper, etc
• Paying for a flyer or advertisement in a local paper, radio spots and community publications
• Visit the new church often
• Bring youth groups or other organizations to a worship service
• Inviting the new church pastor to a gathering at your church and use your facilities
