Alan Roof

Consultant for Still Speaking and Church Development

Rev. Alan Roof serves as full-time, staff chaplain at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta. Alan is a 2006 graduate of Candler School of Theology. Prior to returning to seminary, Alan logged 14 years in healthcare information systems, serving as a department manager, project manager, and implementation consultant. These are skills that the SEC is now utilizing in helping with New Church Growth and other projects. Alan grew up in Colorado and went to undergraduate school in Nebraska. He moved to Atlanta in 1993. Alan is a member of Central Congregational UCC in Atlanta.
